It was an honor Gunny. Now that Memorial Day has gone by, I hope that we
don't lose sight of the fact there's 364 days in the year that we should
honor these good people. Not only did I play taps, I also played something
out of the Arban's book entitled 'Woodman Spare That Tree' as sort of an
abstract 'prayer' that each and every person putting their lives and limbs
on the line are not cut down prematurely before they have a chance to
develop into their full magnificence.
Hey, why swim? We anchor clankers will get you there. 8-)

To all of you who played Taps, thank you for your efforts, and thanks for
sharing the stories. It really means a lot to active duty guys such as
myself. I should be back home to help out next year.
