[TPIN] ITG Conference Coverage

We did this long ago and it was very difficult to manage on many levels. We
have chosen to focus on high quality photos and event reports. I wish it
were practical to provide sound clips, but it just isn¹t. I¹m hoping a host
will consider live web casting for a conference in the future. This is even
more complicated however. ;-)

Michael,

Copyright etc understood. But I was thinking that at least a taste of
performances (ala Amazon or CD Baby) would be like free publicity for some
less well known artists and composers and might be welcomed by them as an
opportunity to reach a wider audience, especially since so many trumpeters
within the ITG and elsewhere are independently wealthy and would purchase
the full recordings that ARE available on the artists' labels. ; )

Also, since Chase Sanborn has posted some of the materials he uses in
clinics, I thought some of these sessions by him or others might be made
available.

Just hoping for some vicarious
long-distance-digital-attendance-opportunities....
