[TPIN] Articulation

Hello (again) TPINers.
 
I had posted before asking for help from you all, and here I am again, so here is my deal:
 
I am doing this three year project for High School in which I am writing a method book (like the Arban book, but mine will be more directed to the beginning trumpet player).
 
I need reliable sources, such as real trumpet players such as yourselves, to give me information so my treatises and concepts are accurate.
 
I was wondering if you all out there could email me back, either on or off the list, with your take on this question:
 
"What different kinds of articulations are there, how do you do them, and when do you use them?"
 
Any and all responses will be appreciated, so I hope you guys can help me.
