[TPIN] re: music reading glasses

I keep a couple pair of glasses my optometrist made for me
just for reading music.  I took a stand, some sheet music
and my horn to the office for the exam.  I got set up like
I would if I was playing a job and the Dr. kept changing
diopters on a pair of mock up glasses until my focal length
was perfect.  Nice thing is I have quite a good depth of
field with the music glasses - I can be a little further
away of a little closer and every note is still crystal
clear.  I keep a pair with my trumpet gear and another pair
with my cornets.  I managed a good deal on the 2nd pair -
buy one get one free!

Maybe TPINers with similar vision issues can check with
their "eye guy" and get fitted with glasses for reading
music.
