I play trumpet and alto horn.  Whether I'm any good on either one of them is 
debatable, but it's good fun if nothing else, and I don't see any harm to my 
chops for either instrument coming from playing the other.  They're really 
just completely different animals, except for the similar fingerings.  I'd 
say it's the same thing with baritone, or baritone might even be closer to 
home, since both instruments are in Bb.
