Hi Folks,

About a week ago I got the crazy idea for my band to sponsor a charity concert
to raise money for the Red Cross of San Gabriel Valley, to help pay for all the
Red Cross services deployed for the disastrous wildfires here in Southern
California a few weeks ago.  Well it is blowing up in a great way!  In addition

two other local bands have signed on to participate in a five-hour
mini-jazz/blues festival to be held the afternoon of Saturday, November 17, in
Pasadena.  It is going to be one sweet jam.

I figured the only way to make a worthwhile event like this even better would
be to add more trumpets to the mix.  I've got some Chase and TOP charts, and
would totally rawk the haus of some of you LA folks could stop by.  All the
