Yeahbut I'm not asking about laying it flat.  I'm talking about the 
engraving/typesetting.  The edition I have (standard red one bought new in 
the last five years or so) looks like it was done with the original plates 
from the 1800s or something.  It looks like a 10th generation photocopy on a 
copier with a funky drum.  The quality is really appalling at the price, and 
the only way I'd be interested in this newer/better/faster/spoofier remix 
version is if they have completely retypset everything using modern 
technology.
