As a matter of fact it is. Check out the "platinum edition". Not only is it comb-bound, but the covers (usually the first casualty of use) are a hard metal of sorts. There is also a CD included with accompaniment for some of the solos and such inside... Well worth the $27 or so (YMMV)

Better than that. You can take the Arban that you already have and go to
Office Depot or Office Max or Kinko's and have them either comb bind or spiral
bind it--your preference--and it costs just a few bucks, under $5 as I recall.
They'll do it while you wait. I have all my students do that.
