This is a GREAT one!  Had a good laugh!
I also liked Glenn's comment about "stomping" on a new Arban's  method.  I'm 
sure we have all wanted to do that at one time or  another.......
You know the great thing about all this?  We are still talking about a  
trumpet method that was written over 150 years ago.  How many things from  what we 
do now, will be remembered in 150 years?  I would say that even  though there 
are a few things lacking for "today's" trumpet playing (we can add  those with 
other books or written out material for students), old Dr. Arban sure  got it 
right.  Wouldn't it have been great to be able to hear him  perform?  Even 
with all the other wonderful trumpet books out there, Arban  is still the 
"Bible" to me.
