Jon,

I don't think that the injury was from closed throat since my playing went to hell
fast when the bonding broke off of the bottom teeth. After I got the bonding
replaced (I took two weeks off the horn)and started to play again
(it took awhile for the cheek to heal) I played well
again. I DID have to tweak my form a little and to breathe deeper(as soon as my
support dipped, the cheek would twinge. That is gone now that it has healed.

Same thing when I originally had the work done. I was able to develop like
I never had before. By this I mean there was a huge difference in the way my whole
set up functioned and the amount of pure development that took place.

Right now Im playing better than I ever have and continuing to develop every
week. I am thrilled to be playing consistently well again.
