Mates,
It seems that the majority of assymetric mpc users are guys that play jazz/commercial style mostly. Anybody play one of the bigger legit Opera models? Can anybody describe the way it responds as compared to any other "standard shape pieces?

x> Dan, I have to tell you...It takes more than a few minutes to see if this mouthpiece will work for you. As I said earlier, I played one for several weeks, and it's not for me, but Nick Drosdoff loved them. You really need to try it for yourself...It like nothing else you've EVER tried, I can assure you. Just don't bounce around between your current mouthpiece and the asymmetrical. That will just screw you up. You can't just pick one of them up and expect to do a run of shows. If you don't have time to do this, wait until you do. Just because they don't work for me doesn't mean it doesn't work! Have you ever heard Nick? Obviously, he knows what works for him, right? I respect Nick's opinion very much...He is not only a trumpet player (played with Maynard) he's also a physicist. You have to try it for yourself! Lou>
