I have got one "Opera 545" which I tried on both my regular Bach B180ML
and my Piccolo Scherzer.
Having been playing it for some months, my findings are:
pro : it makes playing less tiring and high notes easier, once you are
used to place it precisely at the right position on your lips;
con : sound is tiny, you can't play as loud as with a conventional
mouthpiece; on the piccolo, intonation is very bad.
Finally, I switched back to my Yam 15E4 for Bb trumpet and Bach 7CW for
piccolo.
