The instrumentation/players/student status at the time (May 2006):
Piccolo Trumpet (me)
Tpt 1: Matt Muckey (senior NU undergrad)
Tpt 2: Eric Yates (had just finished his DM at NU; currently teaching at 
Univ. of Alabama)
Tpt. 3: Brian McKinney (NU grad student)
Horn 1: Van Parker (NU grad student)
Horn 2: Virginia Sandstrom (colleague at North Park University, where I 
teach)
Horn 3: Christopher Wall (North Park undergrad)
Bone 1: B.J. Hardesty (NU grad student)
Bone 2: Greg Wojcik (Chicago-area HS band director & old friend)
Bone 3: Jim Lehman (NU grad student)
Euphonium: Rita Olsen (North Park musician)
Tuba: Michael Hogg (had recently completed his MM at NU)

I tried to use all NU students, as that's encouraged, but it was tough to 
nail people down at the end of May; a busy time for students, as we all know.

I started that recital with the Sachse, so it was bookended with brass 
groups!
