I have corrected this statement several times on TPIN. It has been many
years since Getzen supplied Monette with valve blocks. They have been doing
their own blocks for a long time.

That's no slight on Getzen valves. The valves on my Getzen C cornet are
amazing. This weekend is my first performance on this horn. I'm doing two
recitals and using the C cornet in place of a C trumpet. Monday night doing
the Ewazen trio (violin/piano) on it as well.
