[TPIN] A. Scherbaum

Hello Alan and All,

Regarding this recent thread on Scherbaum, I was inspired to go through 
my "Saint Agnes Recordings Archives" to search for my Easter Morning 
performance of the Leopold Mozart Concerto.

In the belief that one needs to witness a live performance to truly 
assess a player's skills, I have recently completed my "Classical Side 
of Clyde" page, where I have posted half a dozen "recorded live" (mp3) 
performances from my 1977 - 1984 tenure at The Church of the Ascension 
and St. Agnes", 12th and Massachussetts Ave. NW, Washington D.C.

Here you will find the First Mov. of the Leopold Mozart Trumpet 
Concerto, with string orchestra. My performance includes a cadenza which 
ascends to the 4th octave (double C).  I am playing a piccolo trumpet in 
"A". For myself, Saint Agnes, with its magnificent acoustics, remains at 
the forefront of wonderful places for playing the trumpet.
