[TPIN] Baroque: Solo or Duet?

Hello fellow trumpeters,
     I am about to begin work on a critical edition of a baroque work for my dissertation.  I have several copies of manuscripts for solo and 2 trumpets.
     My question to you all is this...  What would you rather have access to as a performer?  A previously unpublished/unreleased solo, or a duet?
