[TPIN] Water

Well... This brings the conversation full circle...

Last week while practicing, I yanked the first valve slide out to shake out the water (since the Amado water key DOESN'T WORK) and in the process it flew out of my hand. When it hit the floor, the water key came apart. I found all the pieces except the spring.  Had to play the next days rehearsal with a piece of gum over the hole to stop the damn thing from sounding like a boiler factory whenever I pushed down the first valve!!!  Picked up a spring over the weekend.

I think my hands might have been slightly oily from just having applied oil to the water key before in an attempt to get it to move freely - either that or maybe my grip was lose due to the martini I had before dinner...(Different kind of oil!)... Hard to recall ;-)

At any rate, you gotta love those Amado water keys...
