[TPIN] Stainless steel mouthpieces

Jeff,

I've been playing a stainless steel mouthpiece since late May. I've found I can play much louder without the sound breaking up, but also much softer with all the control I want. It also seems to promote cleaner attacks. Some of this may be the design of the mouthpiece, but I'm sure some has to do with the material. The specific piece I'm playing is the Giddings & Webster David Hickman TBR. It's similar to a Bach 1B with a 22 throat.
