This discussion of employing correct horn
lifting/holding/putting-or-not-putting-on-a-stand has reminded me of
Leon's (RIP, brother) remark about those of us who spend so much time
and energy worrying about issues not directly related to making a
beautiful sound. Who's having FUN?
I am careful handling my horns, but life leaves marks. All my horns
look like they have lived, and not just to win beauty pageants. Anyway,
with me holding it, no horn would stand much chance of winning
anything....
Saturday morning, must be time to honk awhile. Maybe I'll even make
some beautiful sounds, uh, after the lip slurs and pedals.
Peace,
gc, who doesn't worry about parking lot dings on his 16 year old
toyota, either
