Even if  it is for publicity the result of  will hopefully be donations to
this cause from those who support it..
IS it worth a million. Who knows.

Last I heard the USA was still a free country. 

Dave should be able to give in his own way and do as he likes.

Nothing is stopping anyone else form starting a fund/scholarship etc

Why do some always want a person like Dave Monette to do something else when
they do nothing themselves except critise.
Remember he could have done nothing.
