I am told that mutes and trumpet stands are responsible for more damage to
those horns than anything else. So, yes, quick mute changes would be an
issue... Not much you can do about that.I suppose you pick it up a lot more
often than you hold it with one hand.

You can take more care in picking it up and you can keep from using a bell
trumpet stand. When I owned mine, I made a stand where you could hang them
from the bell bow. Worked fine.

I sure do like using bell stands better though and am glad to b using them
again. I still won't put my horns in a gig bag though..

I'd never try to blow anything up you Clint. I suppose if I were MF I'd put
my trumpet on anything I wanted. :-)
