I have also seen the Costco "Mt. Vernon," and it
played very well and appeared to be decently made.
Last night at a brass player's 50th birthday party,
one of the kids had one, and that horn was a surprise
hit amongst several pro players. As a great critic of
all the Costco First Act instruments, I remain a bit
skeptical, waiting to see how they hold up, but first
impressions are pretty good. It is amazing how well
they got the Bach "look" down. Will keep you posted.
