And how!  That's why I'm a truck driver instead of a Spanish/French/Latin 
teacher.  It doesn't help you motivate when most of your students are there 
against their will.  I never actually did any real classwork.  I got enough 
of a taste being a student myself, and then doing some work as a home-bound 
teacher for individual students.  It's not a good field for finding willing 
students.

I think music would be better, since it's all voluntary after elementary 
school.  I'd actually like to go back to school and become a band teacher.  I 
developed a real passion for music in my adult life that I never had when I 
was a band student myself.  I bet I could spread it around, and get a lot of 
kids really excited about music.

But I can't see actually doing this until maybe after my kids get out of 
school, get real jobs making beaucoup bucks, and they can help their old man 
out with a little tuition money.  :D
