[TPIN] ADMIN: Problems

Brett,

I am posting this publicly because I feel it is important for everyone to realize what the problems are with your recent posts. 

1. You used an uneccesary and nasty word on the list. Because this list is unmoderated we have a strict policy against using obscene language. We have this policy because TPIN needs to be safe for young players to read. If we allow bad language parents and band directors won't trust TPIN to be appropriate for their kids. 

2. Your posts publicly were full of personal attacks against other list members. There has been way too much of this lately even from long time members. We could all stand to less "snotty" towards the opinions of other members. I hope everyone will consider this one. 

3. This is a big one. You replied to and posted a PRIVATE email on TPIN. This is a big no-no without the permission of the original poster. Very bad form and very inappropriate. 

Everyone needs to take personal affronts to PRIVATE email so as to not bog down the list with personal arguments. That's what howard did when he had a beef with you and you intentionally made it public. This wasn't a slip of the finger. You re-addressed it to TPIN on purpose. 

Brett, please do not reply to this on list. Feel free to reply to me privately. 

Others, please try to follow these guidelines in your posting as well.
