concluded with a satisfying settling-on of a  12B4.

I used a 12A2 with a narrow rim for lead playing in the west end theatres  
(london) for a long time....the narrower rim helps prevent excess mpc  
pressure...
 
I also used a 12E2 (deep and narrow) for more mellow occasions...
