Hello All,

I'm going to respond to a couple of current posts, at the same time:

Here is my version of "I Can't Get Started"..... and yes, I have
included the obligatory vocal chorus... "Brooks Tegler made me a
star"......... only because Bunny Berigan had done so (grin). The
mouthpiece is a Shilke 13A4a.
I like to reference the Rachmaninof ( 2nd?) Symphony in the opening
cadenza, since I believe this to be the melodic spiritual origin of,
can't get started. The gamut is here, from pedal tones to some higher
ones.

If there are problems "hearing" it, send an email and I will send the
file to you.

On my own great mouthpiece search (mainly on Schilkes, due to J.Donaldson's advice -good quality, consistent, and reasonably priced) concluded with a satisfying settling-on of a 12B4.

(I'll expect a few smart-a answers here:), but is it me and/or my embouchure, or does anyone else find the 13A4A almost unplayable? I can only imagine what a 6A4 is like. (And yes, I do like the feel of the Schilke 4 rim, in case you noticed.)
