[TPIN] 13A4A question

I believe it was the reference (you edited out) calling it a "little
golf-tee-with-a-hole" and then having the audacity to saying he expected
some "smart-a answers". That's like black calling the kettle pot.

I could NOT believe the difference between a 14A4A (which I like) and the little golf-tee-with-a-hole 13A4A. (I'll expect a few smart-a answers here:), but is it me and/or my embouchure, or does anyone else find the 13A4A almost unplayable? I can only imagine what a 6A4 is like.

Not every pair of shoes is for every pair of feet. Not every mouthpiece
is for every pair of lips/playing style/sonic demands/breathing
habits. It's a frackin tool for goodness sakes - Find what works for
you and use it. They aren't meant to work for everyone - or else there
would just be one model.

I've endured the arrogance of idiots who refer to specialized
mouthpieces as "cheaters" for years - and still get an amount of crap
from morons who believe you shouldn't play anything on anything but a Bb
trumpet when in legit circumstances. Horns and mouthpieces are tools -
you use the one that gets the best result for the gig you're doing right
then. All other arguments are just silly hyperbole.

Find the tool that works for you - it probably won't be the tool that
works for the guy sitting beside you - unless you are in beginning band
and everyone has a 7C - but there have been several responses in many
threads of late that remind me of the good old days of 1969, the sixth
grade...

Here endeth the lesson.
