[TPIN] Trumpet solo from Summon the Heroes

    I learned the solo by listening to it and playing short sections at a time.  I am a believer that you will both learn it better and play it better if you take the time to do this.  I could play it cold right now because I learned it that way.  If you don't already have the Boston Pops Summon the Heroes recording, it is a MUST  for a brass players library.  Some great music and some really fine playing on that recording.  It doesn't get much more exciting than that.
