[TPIN] Trumpet solo from Summon the Heroes

      Morrison plays the original solo on a C trumpet. It lies real nice on the C  I think that learning to the tune from the CD on the C trumpet ultimately will make it easier to play when playing the Band version since you will know the solo in the right key, you just play it on a Bb where it will lie in the same key but be a step lower.    I also do think that it is more exciting in the higher key  
    If Larry does not have a C trumpet, then my suggestion becomes less useful.    
Either way, its wonderful music and it is worth trying to imitate the CD.    I'm sure we'll all be hearing our share of Summon the Heroes during the Olympics this summer.  Pity Tim doesn't get residuals for everytime his solo is heard on international TV.  He'd be sitting on a pile of money
