I played on a few Laverne & Shirley shows.   Must have been the early 80's.   
Each time I played, it was Walt Johnson as the other trumpet player.   From 
what I recall, the usual trumpet player was Chuck Findley.   I don't know if 
they were the ones to play on the theme, but that would be my guess.
