[TPIN] Bent Bell- How to repair

Hi all,

need to ask a question. Someone dropped my trumpet from about waist
height. Ended up with a stuck first valve and a slight bend in the
bell. My local music shop tech managed to get the valve free and in
fact the action feels much better now. However, he said there was
really nothing he could do to fix the bell.

Would like to know if any of you have had a similar experience and
whether it is easy to realign the bend to as good as new, or do I have
to go the whole hog and send it to someone to restore.

I can probably live with the slight bend, but if it is a relatively
easy fix, then perhaps I can find someone to help me out. I'm sure
this happens quite a bit to trumpet players, so any direction in this
matter is appreciated.
