[TPIN] FS: Monette 997 Copy

Ever wanted a Monette 997, but didn't want to spend the $10,000 to get one?
Here is a very good copy of that horn.

This trumpet started it's life as a Courtois Evolution. Jim Becker @ Osmun
Brass gave it a new life when he made a custom leadpipe for it, custom ovate
tuning slide, rebuilt the pistons so they are fast and tight, and did some
other tweaks to really make this horn shine!

The original finish has been stripped, so it is down to it's beautiful raw
brass. This instrument comes with two tuning slides, the original and the
custom ovate slide.

This is as close as you are going to get to the dark, Monette sound without
spending 3-times the amount of my asking price.
