When the question came up about the  flourographs  John Haynie did

I emailed Morris Martin at The University of North Texas and this was 
his reply.

Hey everyone!  Yes, we tried, but we have been unable to find a

working original machine on which to play the originals.  Various 
attempts have

been made over the years, not just by us.  John is still interested in

it done, and we have been working with someone at a commercial company

specializes in saving odd formats.  We will, of course, be  pleased to

success if we achieve it.  The short answer is that we are still 
working on it

Yes. When I was  grad student there I often used these in my brass

methods class. The x-rays themselves were on 8mm film (as I recall)

and the accompanying sound was on 3" reel to reel tapes. I had to try

and synchronize them by hand. Last I heard the NTU library was going

to try and combine these on VHS or something. Have no idea if that

proceeded or not.
