Hello all...

Thanks for the post Tim about the chatroom.  There have been a couple of
developments in the chatroom since it started back up last April, and I
thought now would be a good time to send a reminder to TPIN.

The most interesting development is that now the chatroom is active during
the daytime hours.  There are a lot of folks that hang out during the day,
so it's now active almost 24/7.  I think one or two guys even log in from
work.  I stay logged in most all the time but am not active all the time.  

Next, the room is now 18+ only.  This was done because the chatroom is
unmoderated, for the *most* part.  It's a place where adults can come and
hang out, and when teens or even younger kids come in it changes the vibe in
the room.
Having said that, the room isn't a raunchy place.  You basically get out of
it what you put in....act maturely and you'll make some great friendships.
Act like a jerk - you'll get treated like one, and then get your butt
bounced from the room.

If you haven't been in yet, you really should give it a try.  MANY times the
hot discussions on TPIN are hashed out in the room.  It seems like there's
always someone there that knows the inside skinny on what's really going on,
so if you want to get the lowdown come check it out!

And, we do talk trumpet a fair amount...all someone has to do is bring it up
and we're all over it.
