Such a "consumate player". He never fails to astound me - musically,
technically and personality-wise.
There's seems to be an abundance of Andre video floating around. He must
get quite a bit of air play in France and Europe in general. Proves that
they've got some measure of good taste, eh? We get Rappers... They get
Maurice Andre and beautiful sopranos...

This is the way it is supposed to be!!!!!!! support the soprano, have
total respect for your musical colleague, imitate her, match her sound, her
pitch. MAGNIFICENT playing and music making. The complete antithesis of
the Battle/Marsalis recording. did Maurice play a single ornament? He
didn't need to. The music was interesting and beautiful enough. You made
my day with that one Jim!!
