[TPIN] 60 year old NY Bach

I have a NY Bach, Mercedes model, 1951, that my brother bought brand new, 
and had delivered to my house two weeks before I was born. He was thirteen. 
I had to have it redone when I inherited it, and it looks beautiful. I have 
the original gladstone case with Bach brass plaque on the case.
It plays great, and if I was playing classical I would use it...
Right now, it's in the display case. I'm afraid to take it out of the house. 
I wonder what it's worth?
The NY Bachs, Strads or otherwise, are all well build, from Strad parts, 
from what I have heard.
