[TPIN] 60 year old NY Bach

I have an old trumpet friend who is in ill health who has a Strad. serial 
#39XX that he bought new in NYC around 1939/40. He played it in NYC and LA 
in the 1940 - 1950 era. I went to his house last week and cleaned it up for 
him and played it for a while using his original Bach 7C mouthpiece (Bach 
put his initials on it) which is completely different from any 7C I've ever 
seen. The horn itself is like new and is, again, unlike any Bach Strad. I've 
ever seen. It is much lighter weight than the last one I owned (1960's) and 
played like a dream.
