[TPIN] Proper Records cd sets

Has anyone purchased these low-priced 4 cd sets?  Looking at their  catolog 
I'm finding several of interest (Louis, Bix, Shorty Rogers, Monk, Bird,  Oscar 
Peterson, etc), but I'm unfamiliar with them.  Are they poor quality  
recordings, hence the low price?
