This is Maurice, arguably, at his finest. The sound he made on that Selmer
and the music he made on this Telemann still gives me chills. That is the
most gorgeous, rich tone I can imagine.
It is my understanding that he used a Bach mouthpiece with a C cup to
make that sound. Can anyone confirm this? or correct this statement?
