MUSIC OF A GOLDEN ERA - THE AUSTRALIAN BAROQUE BRASS IN CONCERT

The Australian Baroque Brass (australianbaroquebrass.com) together  
with organist Kathrine Handford will perform a concert at Central  
Presbyterian Church on Thursday, January 31st at 7 PM in the  
sanctuary.  The ensemble has been performing concerts during a two  
week tour of the United States.

Performing the finest of authentic Baroque and Classical music, the  
Australian Baroque Brass embraces the music of such composers as  
Gabrieli, Monteverdi, Scarlatti, Biber, Vivaldi, J.S.Bach, Handel,  
Purcell, Haydn and Mozart among others. Led by baroque trumpet  
virtuoso and artistic director John Foster, Australian Baroque Brass  
is a dynamic ensemble featuring the finest musicians Australia has to  
offer, all performing on period instruments.  Soprano Anna Sandstrom  
will perform a number of arias by Handel, Caccini, Scarlatti, Michael  
Haydn and Mozart.

Admission is free but a free will offering will be taken.
