An old post from Nick Block stated the following....

collaboration with Yamaha, Kanstul redubbed the horn as simply the 1600. The
specs for the 1600 have not changed. While I prefer the versatility and
timbre of my 1500, the 1600 is a great horn. Amazingly easy upper register,
great flexibility, really lights up the room when you pour on the gas.
I believe the specs are the same.
