I, too, want to congratulate Brad Ulrich for putting on an extremely enjoyable, educational and inspirational event. I left that Friday night Al Vizzutti concert and, instead of burying my horns in the back yard, came home and practiced for about an hour and a half before hitting the sack, getting up early Saturday morning to make the 45 minute drive back over to attend the Saturday events. I particularly enjoyed Gary Malvern's warm-up workshop and playing in Mark Clodfelter's trumpet ensemble.

I heard some great music during the 2-hour-20-minute concert that led up to the final Al Vizzutti jazz concert, and especially enjoyed the Marine Corps trumpets and Mark's Kentucky group. Very high level of playing and superb music being played!

I also enjoyed meeting/seeing some of the TPIN guys, Mike Ackerman, Bob Wright, Sam Province, Hank & Mary Lynn and several others.

All in all it was great, and I'm so glad Larry Black talked me into going!
