You might also want to try Maaz which is an all-metal polish, if you can
still find it being offered in this country (USA).  Walgreens used to carry
it, but has been discontinuing it in many locations.

Maaz is a German lotion which really works well for all types of metal
including gold and silver.  I've used it a number of times for every part
of the trumpet -inside and out, and have experienced no ill effects from
its usage.

Your valves will start to stick when the weather gets sticky and the
notes get tricky!   hahahahahahaha!
