As a direct "answer" of sorts,... for me,...

...I find that after a night of hard playing (or practicing) it helps to do easy, soft lip slurs down in the middle to lower register.   (But so soft that you're struggling to play - not pinched - relaxed, easy - remember that playing really softly is an extreme also - the key word is "relaxed")

C-G-E-C  (rest)

B-F#-D#-B (rest)

Bb-F-D-Bb (rest)

etc... down to low F#  (sometimes descending into pedals can help too)

About 10 minutes of this in the morning, after my 2nd cup of coffee.   Then put it back in the box.   Help bring things back to a "center" and warm up the muscles.

Kind of like a running doing a little easy flexbility, before the daily workout.
