You might want to try your local Conn-Selmer dealer and see if they can get
the part from the company. The horn is no longer in production. In fact, Benge
barely exists anymore with the only instruments in the catalog being the
pocket trumpet and, believe it or not, a trombone. But that's the logical place to
start. Good luck.
If that proves futile, I'd contact one of the repair technicians who have
national followings (Dick Ackright, Charley Melk, Rich Ita, Ron Pinc, et al) and
see if they can find or make something that would work. With that horn,
however, you need to be careful about blowing the cost/benefit analysis. Probably
not worth spending a fortune on. Watch for them on eBay to see how much they are
going for.
