Try a Kanstul 1600.   I've been knocked out at how much better it works on the job (vs. my old Bach 37) - especially when you have to blow "big" all night - really lights up the room when played loud.   Yet, when played softly, you can get a nice warm sound - great for jazz, lounge type stuff - not quite "flugally" in nature, but leaning in that direction.

The horn is also much lighter, physically speaking, and you can "feel" the resonance through the horn also - which I like.  It's a pleasure to hold in your hands, and a pleasure to play.
