Sorry, guys. Something about this whole conversation seemed odd to me. So I went back a re-read the archives. I totally missed Wilmer's posting where he said that Lew had a Schilke Bb w/a fourth valve. I subsequently missed his tongue-in-cheek reply to me. Proof that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Sorry for the confusion.

P.S. I do, however, still believe that Lew has some SERIOUS "intestinal fortitude", E trumpet or not. (I'd prefer another metaphor. But this IS tpin.)
