Everyday I get a "wow" from you guys..I thought I was the only one that was on the lookout for the BEST
overall playing trumpet.  Seems that most of you prefer the BACH Strat. 

I play a MARTIN COMMITTEE ......Unfortunately not 40's model.  (any intelligent, rude or degrading comments, about that horn)

Reason I purchased it was because I play in a R/R band (I'm the Jazz connection)  and the committee with it's

large 5.25" bell and large bore allows me to keep ahead of the loud guitars, electric pianos..and for course the glorious 

AMPS.  BUT , seems like the trend is toward darker tones...Last week I was in Ashland, Or. got to play  a 

COURTOIS  (sorry it I didn't spell it right).  What a great feeling horn ....

AGAIN..I need your intelligent, rude or degrading comments before I spend $4000.
