[TPIN] Buffet trumpet

      Hello  ,

    I am trying to find information on a vintage Buffet trumpet. It 
was given as a gift to a friend's father 30-40 years ago  and rarely 
if ever played .
     It is in near new condition , plays great and has a wonderful sound .
     I know that Buffet did not make trumpets but contracted them 
out. The question is who made it , when and how much is it worth 
?  The owner wants to sell it since his father has passed away and he 
doesn't play .
      The serial # is 1078 . I can tell  that is it a very well built 
trumpet . There is no wear on the valves , no dents and just a very 
small bit of lacquer wear on the end of a  slide  and the back of the bow .
