[TPIN] another place to sell musical instruments

hey guys and ladies.

i know most of us use Ebay if we are trying to sell trumpet stuff some place
besides this list. Well today, i had an interesting experience.
I needed to sell a baby grand piano. Thought i had a buyer and he wrote last
night that he wanted something less expensive. So a great jazz pianist that
I know named Paul English recommended that I put an ad on Craig's list. I
have to tell you i was very skeptical of this working, and especially of it
working quickly.

I put the ad on at 10:30 this morning. By 11:00 the first person had called
to schedule an appointment. By 1:00 pm I had scheduled three appointments
FOR THIS EVENING. I was amazed. I also have someone coming tomorrow if the
piano does not sell tonight.

now i have no idea about trumpets, and whether folks looking for those look
on Craig's list. But if you are trying to sell a trumpet, give it a try. I
know i will be using it as a way of selling things in the future, as well as
ebay.
